Empower Girls with the Lovable Curriculum

In the Lovable curriculum, the girls engage in meaningful work that nurtures and cultivates what we call, The 5 Seeds—guiding actions that take root and grow within them. These seeds shape how they see themselves, navigate challenges, and embrace their inherent worth. The five seeds are:
-
Treat yourself like a good friend (You deserve to be kind to yourself.)
-
Accept all of yourself—even the murky parts (It is the gateway to self-love.)
-
Affirm/Know Your Failures Do Not Define You (Use setbacks, mistakes, and failures as lessons or a signal to ask for help.)
-
Embrace challenges as a part of life (Navigate what it brings while working through it and ask for help from Safekeepers when you need it.)
-
Count yourself ‘in,’ not out, of the love equation. (Include yourself as a recipient of love and kindness.)
Through each exploration and reflection, these seeds are tended to with care by our Keepers, allowing girls to grow in self-acceptance, strength, and self-love.
A Transformational Curriculum & Training for Educators, Mentors, and Youth Leaders

About the Lovable Curriculum
The Lovable curriculum is a thoughtfully designed program that helps middle school girls (ages 10-15) develop self-acceptance, emotional intelligence, and resilience. Built around the themes of the book Lovable, this curriculum provides engaging activities, discussions, and reflections that empower young girls to embrace their worth and navigate challenges with confidence.
At its core, Lovable teaches that self-acceptance is the gateway to self-love. By helping girls embrace who they are now, we are planting the seeds for self-love—both in the present and as they grow into womanhood.
Perfect for:

Schools & Educators
-
Youth Mentors & Counselors

Why Teach the Lovable Curriculum?
-
It's preventative. Lovable isn’t just about helping girls feel good — it’s about giving them protective tools. Self-acceptance and self-love are shields that help prevent the harm caused by damaging cultural messages and negative, internalized beliefs.
-
It builds resilient thinking & schema. The curriculum helps girls develop language, beliefs, and navigation tools that support them through the inevitable challenges of growing up, understanding challenging emotions, and cultivating self-acceptance to guide them back to their strength when they feel lost.

-
It creates a safe, powerful space . In the presence of Keepers, Lovable creates space for truth-telling, vulnerability, and examining the messages society, culture, and even family can send about worth and value.
-
It offers guidance from those who’ve walked the path. Keepers are trained to walk alongside girls, sharing their own hard-won wisdom as girls navigate the journey from girlhood to womanhood, from empowerment to disempowerment to empowerment (inner).
-
It roots strength in self-acceptance as self-love. At its core, Lovable always points back to the same unshakable foundation: self-acceptance, self-compassion, and self-love. When girls internalize these truths, they gain not just confidence, but an enduring sense of worth. This isn’t just the goal of the curriculum — it’s the ground everything else grows from.

We are Keepers...
We call those who teach the Lovable curriculum Keepers, because this work requires the safekeeping of our girls, lots of care, vulnerability, and the capacity to hold space. This is not a cookie-cutter training; it is an immersive experience designed to help you cultivate deep understanding, self-reflection, storytelling, and other skills necessary to guide young girls in their exploration of self-love through self-acceptance within a caring community.

What Keepers Are Saying
Karla
School Counselor, CA
"Participating in the training was an engaging and enlightening experience. The restorative approach centered on building authentic connections, which truly made a difference. [During implementation] students not only experienced social-emotional growth, but also showed improved attendance as they felt more motivated to come to school and participate. The sense of belonging and support created through the group had a meaningful and lasting impact."
Ms. R
School Counselor, CA
"At the beginning, two of the girls had a conflict that was noticeable in the group dynamic. But through the consistency of meeting together, they were able to work through it on their own. The curriculum created space for open dialogue and peer-led resolution. Watching them navigate that conversation and come out stronger really deepened the sense of camaraderie and trust in the group."
